Session 1 went by quickly. I managed to shake off the rust of 2+ years of not drawing. Don't get me wrong, I would still doodle and what not, but this was applying myself to draw - not relying on an Adobe program to make it easier. I earned a C (5.6) in the class. A C in that class was more or less the equal of an A or high B in anything else. It was almost boot camp but so completely worth it. As I told the instructor - it's good to be back.
When the Fall semester comes around things will no doubt be more hectic. Currently I'm juggling work, school, freelancing, and a social life. A full 13+ hour course load finishing up/catching up is going to be hard, but again completely worth it.
I can sleep when I cash in some vacation time. Whenever that might be.
Speaking of vacation, with the 4th of July weekend coming up, I'll have Friday off. I plan to relax, watch a handful of movies I've been wanting to watch/re-watch, get the homework completed, and spend time with friends and family. Maybe even clean up the apt and post some new work up here.
I've been incredibly slack on posting new design work. But with the posting I may be able to post a piece or two from Session 1. See also creating a design gallery-thingy on Facebook.
With that, I'm heading to bed early tonight.

P.S. It looks like I'll actually be in town this weekend. Call me.

Look me up some time when I'm not working in the lab and we'll go for lunch. Your treat this time!
